Why did you choose Saybrooke at Lake Wylie?
We chose to move to Saybrooke at Lake Wylie because of its perfect location near the lake, the beautiful trees, and all the amazing amenities. It feels like we’re tucked away in the country, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, and we absolutely love it.
Why did you decide to build versus buy an existing home?
Building a custom home just made sense for us. It allowed us to create a space that suited our needs perfectly, and we were surprised to find that the cost was comparable to buying an existing home. Keystone Custom Homes offered us more flexibility than anyone else we looked into.
Why did you choose Keystone specifically?
One thing we loved was the ability to make the house our own. For instance, we enlarged the Dining Room, removed a wall, and added the feature wall you see in the dining area. We picked the Covington Heritage model because it had everything we wanted: a formal Dining Room, a great room for gatherings, and spacious bedrooms.
What do you love about the Covington?
We liked the formal Dining Room, the great room feel that you get between the Family Room and Kitchen area along with the very spacious Bedrooms. We wanted this to be where everybody came to and felt like they were at home. The original thoughts around the house were all around the family whether it's gathering at the Dining Room table whether it's the Kitchen table or just hanging in the Family Room or in the Loft that we added as well it was all around family. Family was at the heart of every decision we made.
Describe the Community Atmosphere!
Moving here has been such a joy. The community is so friendly and welcoming. We love meeting our neighbors and sharing this journey of settling into the area. It’s been like receiving a warm hug since the day we arrived.
