Why did you decide to build versus buy an existing home?
    We were moving to the Carolinas from Las Vegas and wanted to start fresh with a new home in a good area. 
Why did you choose Keystone specifically?
    Keystone had a lot of options for us to pick from and the area where they were building in the palisades really caught our eyes. 
What do you love about the Lachlan floorplan?
    The Lachlan is a perfect home plan for someone wanting 4 bedrooms but not a lot of empty space to clean. We love the open downstairs and the flex space next to the entry. 
Tell us about how you envisioned life in your brand-new home.

    We wanted a farmhouse next to the lake so this hit on all of our needs and wants. With the Lachlan modern farmhouse we achieved our goal of lake living in a new farmhouse.
What was the most challenging part of building your home?
    Living across the country and not being able to check in on it when we wanted but the MY KCH app made that seamless. 
What drew you to Saybrooke at Lake Wylie?
    The access to Lake Wylie and the Palisades neighborhood in general. 

What have you enjoyed most about your new home so far?

    We have enjoyed going to the lake next to our home meeting wonderful neighbors from all over the USA who also moved in and the views from our Dining Room. 
Describe the community atmosphere/life!
    The community is friendly and very diverse. There are many younger buyers like ourselves and also a blend of older couples as well. 
If you had one piece of advice for a future Keystone Homeowner, what would it be?
    My advice would be to ask as many questions as possible and don’t assume anything with a custom home. There is a lot to unpack when selecting options and a lot of freedom with layout etc.
