Meet The Team: Donnielle Bowers

How did you start working for Keystone?

When we moved to PA, the hunt was on for a job! I had worked for the same company for 18 years and found it to be a bit intimidating to start the search all over again. I was so impressed with the team of people we interacted with when building our home, that I reached out and asked if Keystone was hiring. The description of the remote Online Advisor job opening had similarities to my previous role as a Senior Property Manager and helping families in need find housing. Meeting the team felt very natural and welcoming; much like my experience with the team we worked with during our build process. I wanted this job because I wanted to work for a company that cared so deeply for their customers and their employees. At the end of the interview, I was asked "Do you have any questions?", I have just one, when can I start?! So happy they chose me! 

 What's your favorite part of being an online advisor?

Besides working from home 😊; working with the BEST team ever. We encourage each other, we laugh together, and we push each other to reach goals! We basically ROCK!

What is one piece of advice you would give people who are shopping for a new home? 

Know what you want. We build dream homes, so you need to dream big and let Keystone be the “craftsman” for that dream!

  As Keystone's resident birthday queen, what is your favorite thing you have ever done for your birthday month? 

When I turned 30, instead of celebrating me all month, I planned one-on-one dates with friends and family who are really special to me. Spending quality time with them allowed me to show my appreciation and give back some of the love they pour into me!

Tell us what it’s like to be a member of the Keystone Family as a homeowner (at one point) and a team member! 

 As a homeowner, I was overjoyed to be living in the home I viewed nearly every day on the website. When I found out we were moving to PA from Chicago, my husband said, we are going to build and I want you to check out Keystone Custom Homes. Immediately, I fell in love with the Nottingham Normandy. I saw myself living there and when I toured the model home that was in Harrisburg, it confirmed this was my house. We signed the contract immediately. The day Joe Wzorek handed over the keys, my husband and I and jumped and shouted, thanking the Lord for this beautiful dream come true. It made the transition from Chicago so much better!
